Good reading. I begin to see her as more interesting now.
OIf I would have such a talk with a friend of mine, all my "alarm
bells" would sound.
I can excuse Saavik only by missing experience in basic psychology
*grin* But perhaps she is just what she said about Humans: too
innocent concerning the topic of failing loyalities...
More, please!

Loved
it, interesting to see the changes already in their friendship. And
how very sad to see Saavik asking how Spock is and that he doesn't
remember much of her. And would Valeris tell her? I don't know.
Not if keeping quiet serves her interests better. And the beginnings
of the conspiracy are there already. Valeris sees much more in black
and white than Saavik. And interestingly, Saavik is much more
tolerant than Valeris of diversity. So far, she's gotten annoyed by
humans, by Klingons... And the competition between the two of them.
Not stemming from Saavik, she would just want to see Valeris do
well. She would be hurt that Spock doesn't remember her and he's
spending time with Valeris. But, again she wouldn't push him. But
Valeris seems to be willing to get in between the repair of that
friendship. And I don't think she'd tell Saavik if Spock rememebered
her.

Her face softened into a wry teasing. "All competition aside, I
would regret your loss." -- I like this from Saavik.
Valeris nodded. "I will seek him out." "I do not see how that would harm anything."
-- Ah Oh! :o
Valeris is determined to become the enemy. She is Baaad. We do not
like her.... yet. :)
