Hope by Marla

Jenny:

Snort.... Saavik getting a bit of her own medicine! Funny.

Heather:

Okay, this entire fic was hilarious. They're both so proper in their word selection and phrasing that you almost forget what they're talking about.

**Valeris’ frown deepened and she studied the Rbigitan critically. “Perhaps someone should explain basic biological functioning to her.”** Heee. Why do I now have this picture of Valeris marching up there and setting everything straight?

**Valeris’ eyes widened. ** As she thinks "You can *do* that?"

**Valeris lifted a correcting eyebrow. “You said he always had the courtesy of answering *your* questions." *** Ooooo. So wait, the "teacher" Saavik refers to is Spock? (which is what I thought) Isn't that interesting how Saavik won't refer to him by name, but rather by title.

**“Discounting such activity designed for brutality, generally pleasure.”*** This brings back memories of my sex-ed classes and the little pamphlets they handed out, describing all the bodily changes.

**When they saw her looking at them, they each smiled. She supposed their expressions were meant to suggest what Saavik indicated.** Snort. The sad thing here is that I'm just as clueless. Only I don't have the Vulcan genes to use as an excuse.

**Two of the males, including the Starfleet officer, moved their eyes to Saavik. For some reason, that disturbed Valeris. ** Foreshadowing!!!!

**But she would *have* that uniform for her own, someday.** And many other things as well. Including a comfy prison cell!!!

I wonder how much of this conversation helped Valeris plan out her seduction of Spock. B/c she manipulated him both logically and emotionally ...

Nice job, Marla!

Farfalla:

Whoa. That was incredible, but I'm still freaked out both that it exists, and that I read it. Wow.

Romulan Empress:

Interesting story. A different idea, but I like it. Are you planning to write more?

mzsnaz:

Another great story! It's such a shame that Saavik's obvious affection and knowledge of Spock will be used by Valeris to usurp Saavik's rightful place on the Enterprise. I never did like Valeris, and your story just adds to my justification for that feeling!

Hanakin222:

A very interesting discussion. Good job with the details. I liked this a lot.
